I am considering having an in ground pool installed. And just looking into it was reading about bonding. I was curious why you don't have to bond a temporary pool like an Intex?
I don't think any of us can tell you the thinking when the NEC was developed as to why temporary pools got a pass on bonding. They had to pick a point where a tub of water became a pool and requried the NEC to be applied. Thus came the definition of temporary pools.
