I purchased a Florida home that came with an in-ground pool. 14 x 28 feet. Light blue color. Concrete pool (gunite?). Over winter I've been discovering black spots on the bottom of my pool and less so on the sides. My pool guy says it's because I haven't cleaned the braces/framing in my pool cage. They are dirty. He said Crud from the pool cage is falling into the pool leaving these stains. Is that a strong possibility? Could that really contribute to these stains? Or is this some type of chemical reaction going on? My pool guy is very good at keeping the pool water clean with the proper ph balance
. Any thoughts? This is driving me nuts. Thanks for your input.
