Black Mondo Grass Border Plant...anyone have it?

I am so excited to be able to start the finishing landscape around our pool this spring. I have been buying plants left and right (I love perennials and it's my outlet). I can across black mondo grass and loved the dark leaf. I am thinking of using it as the edger plant along where the concrete meets the mulched flower bed. Anyone else have this variety?

How big can those grasses grow? I have had grasses that grow huge and high by the end of the summer. I don't know if they will stay low and tight like in the pic.

Suuupppposedly...

If its the same as regular green mondo grass, it can spread laterally quite a ways after a few years.
