Being gone stinks...

Keep adding the FC to make sure it is staying up enough to kill any hiding algae. Leave the pump running 24/7. Make a note of "clean" pressure and tell the pool sitters to clean the filter when the pressure gets to ?? psi. IF they will brush the pool that would be great also.

I am glad it has turned to blue. Now your filter is the heavy lifter with the FC as back up to keep it all dead.

So I finally heard back from the neighbor. He said they put in "shock" and pH increaser. pH increaser?!!!

So, the pool continues to be blue, but the clarity just isn't getting better. FC is still high - 20ppm. Pump is running 24/7. Shouldn't the clarity be improving? I leave tomorrow morning and want to have a plan to pass onto our new "helper". Just keep SLAMing?
