So I have a 4500-5000 gallon above ground vinyl pool. Non salt water. 10" sand filter. I was sick for over a week and tried to get the pool back to levels. After shocking, vacuuming, backwashing, then readding stabilizer and some liquid chorline I'm still at the following levels. I have the recommended test kit:
Free Chlorine 0.2
Combine Chlorine 2
CYA 50
Calcium 280
PH 7.2
Alkalinity 90

1) The PoolMath says to add 39oz of bleach to reach my Target Free Chlorine of 4.0, will adding that lower the Combine Chlorine?
2) Can I add the Liquid Bleach while folks are in the pool?

THANKS IN ADVANCE for any all advice!

You can safely swim in a pool as long as the FC is above the minimum and at or below SLAM level based on your CYA. You must also be able to see the bottom of the pool in the deep end of the pool.

The CC of 2 is concerning. Does the water stink? It may irritate eyes if the CC is really 2.
