I'm in South Carolina and have kept our pool open all through the winter, SWG filter/pump running on a schedule every day, checking on all the usual stuff like skimmer socks, etc. The temps are now mostly in the high 60s/low-to-mid-70s here every day (50s at night). Water temp is in the mid-to-high 60s for now. I've started seeing some slight algae growth and have brushed sides and bottom on occasion, but it's coming back a little more.
Tested a few things and it's currently: FC 5.5 / pH 7.3 / Salt 1650 / CYA 45 - 16-ft above-ground, approx 5,000 gallons
I added 60 lbs of salt today to bring salinity up where it needs to be again (lots of rain/emptying/filling over the winter season has it low). Should I test other things or add some liquid chlorine or bring the CYA up at this point?
Thanks!
