Bad Salt Cell

Can someone please help me understand why a salt cell might break prematurely - 3 years or less?

Kim,

Is the Cell "light" flashing while the display shows the word "Cell"??

If so, have you checked to make sure the cell plates are clean?

In which pool is this SWCG installed??

Hey Kim,

I have the same SWG. My actually just reached the end of it's life today as well and I posted here about it. I had over 12,000 hours on mine, and someone quoted my post about it and said they were rated for 10,000 hours. Have you checked diagnostic mode to see how many hours yours has?

It might show "CELL" due to low salt levels or calcium build up on the blades.
