Backwash adapter for intex sand filter

I want to plumb my backwash outlet with pvc due to location of my pump. The only adapter I have found is a female 40mm to 1.5” male. I also found the fitting that intex sells to clamp a soft hose, but I would prefer to plumb it with pvc. The threads on discharge are male. Is there an adapter for the 40mm male to 1.5”?
