I know this is a big ask but would it be possible for anyone to post pictures or a video of how they access their auto cover box in a pool similar to mine? Long story short, we have been having issues with our auto cover box – tiles falling off, also the lids have to be lifted off of the box and placed on the pool deck to access the box. The lids are extremely heavy making this difficult. Our pool builder is saying that we just need to have him do it when our box needs cleaned out but of course this is very expensive. I am having difficulty finding advice online. Thank you! I have attached a picture of what our box looks like.

You say "Lids" are there trays or some sort of structure that are holding multiple coping and paving pieces?
I ask because my cover is similar but the the lids are just ~24x24" concrete coping sections that need to be lifted off one at a time. It is a two person job but not unmanageable.

Our cover stones are 12" x 24" and they are heavy but manageable for an able-bodied person with upper body strength. My wife would be a no go on ours for example.

Same as ours. Pain in the but mostly because getting my fingers in the gaps to lift. And then placing strain on the travertine is definitely going to crack our coping.
