That's a good question about the unions on the pool pump. It seems that all the pool plumbers out here do it this way (there are really only a couple companies).

Yeah, I have been watering it very often. No real signs of cracking at all, which is good. Next is the coping. They are hoping to start on Wednesday. Can't wait for this project to be done. Haha.

I would have them put them on now even if you have to pay for them. Better to do it now instead of when you are under the stress of NEEDING them and not having them.
