Are there some Arctic Spa owners/DIYers that would like to share info
I have fixed almost everything that could break in my 2014 Kodiak.
I have a question on the ozone system (could be any spa really of course).
The setup in my spa has been there for years (maybe since original install) but the ozone injector is down stream from the reaction tub.... i cant see how that makes any sense :)
Am i missing something?
I have scoured the net for info.... cant find much but what i do find is reaction tubs post injection (which makes more intuitive sense).
Any input appreciated! thanks.

Thanks so much for the reply... sorry i should have attached pics originally.
Note there is a typo in my first note... the tub is a 2004 - still in great shape.
I added some descriptions to the pics.
The issue as I see it is the injector is down stream from the chamber. My original thought was maybe the ozone backflows into the chamber somehow? I dont think that is possible.
Seems odd it was installed improperly originally however.. i think it was original equipment but not sure.Reaction tube from Right side.jpgReaction tube-system from Left side.jpg

I haven't seen that style of ozone injector alot, but I think it has a flow direction. Are there any directional markings on it? As I recall, it would also be backwards if your flow indicators are correct. Are you sure about your assessment of the direction of flow?

Thanks!
100% certain on the way the water is flowing. The output from the pump enters the top of the tube, if you look closely you can see the water flowing down.
there are no directional flow indicators on the tube but it makes sense for it to flow from top to bottom to mix with ozone bubbles.... issue is I don't see how there can be any ozone in there :)
The injector is also positioned for that water flow direction as indicated toward the bottom drain.
