Hello,
I have a PureLink Subpanel with qty 4, 3hp relays. It also has the iAqualink controlling it.

I have a question about the S1-1 dip switch.

I have a non-booster pump cleaner. The wording is a little ambiguous whether S1-1 should be turned on or not for a non-booster pump cleaner, or whether the booster pump should be turned on for either type of cleaner.

Please let me know whether S1-1 should be on or not for a non-booster cleaner. Thank you :)

The instructions are below.

Welcome to TFP.

You don't have a booster pump but do you have an actuator on a diverter valve to turn the cleaner on and off?

If so then you need to turn on dip switch #1 and plug the actuator into cleaner JVA socket. You will lose the use of the relay plugged into AUX1 for other devices. AUX1 will then display CLEANER and control the valve.

Thank you Allen.

That is correct... no booster pump.

I had the #1 switch on originally and then Aqualink tech support had me turn it off. The reason for this is that I needed to get control of one more or the relays.

Currently the system is configured like this:

1 VSP = For pool/spa combo, including filtration, deckjets, cleaner,
1 Non-VS Pump = independent plumbing for the waterfall.

JSA 1 = Intake JVA
JSA 2 = Return JVA
JSA 3 = Cleaner JVA
JSA 4 = Deckjet JVA

Filter Pump Relay (#1) - Waterfall pump
Aux Relay (#2) - Salt (comes on when the pump is on in pool mode)
Aux Relay (#3) - Lights
Aux Relay (#4) - not used

Relay socket "F. Pump" > Filter Pump Relay (#1)
Relay socket "Aux 1" > Filter Pump Relay (#1) - Waterfall pump
Relay socket "Aux 2" > Aux Relay (#2) - Salt (comes on when the pump is on in pool mode)
Relay socket "Aux 3" >

S1 Dip Switches
#1 - Off
#2 - Off
#3 - On
#4 - Off
#5 - Off
#6 - Off
#7 - On
#8 - Off

Right now the Deckjet JVA and the Waterfall relay activate at the same time,

Can I make them activate independently? I am not clear whether I can configure the system to get independent control of the waterfall relay. Do you know?

Thank you,
Glenn

I don't understand why your SALT is not connected to "F. Pump" > Filter Pump Relay (#1)

You asked about the cleaner and now you want Deckjet JVA and the Waterfall relay to activate independently?

What controller do you sue? iAqualink? OneTouch? All Button?

Hi Allen,

I'm sorry. Yes, I err'd when I was making my list and propagated the error through my list.

This is controlled by iAqualink.

I am wondering if this is the correct setup to get the functionality I want.

Here is the corrected list.

1 VSP = For pool/spa combo, including filtration, deckjets, cleaner,
1 Non-VS Pump = independent plumbing for the waterfall.

JSA 1 = Intake JVA
JSA 2 = Return JVA
JSA 3 = Cleaner JVA
JSA 4 = Deckjet JVA

Relay socket "F. Pump" ---to---> Filter Pump Relay (#1) - Salt (comes on when the pump is on in pool mode)
Relay socket "Aux 1" ---to---> Aux Relay (#1) - Waterfall pump
Relay socket "Aux 2" ---to---> Aux Relay (#2) - Lights
Relay socket "Aux 3" ---to---> (not used)

Filter Pump Relay (#1) - Salt (comes on when the pump is on in pool mode)
Aux Relay (#1) - Waterfall pump
Aux Relay (#2) - Lights
Aux Relay (#3) - not used

S1 Dip Switches
#1 - Off
#2 - Off
#3 - ON
#4 - Off
#5 - Off
#6 - Off
#7 - ON
#8 - Off

Right now the Deckjet JVA and the Waterfall relay activate at the same time,

Can I make them activate independently? I am not clear whether I can configure the system to get independent control of the waterfall relay. Do you know?
