So today our AquaLink TCX system has just gone completely crazy. Pump shutting off, chlorinator set to boost, heater turned off (from on), and pool lights toggling on/off on their own. Anyone else having issues now or experienced anything like this?

My RS system seems fine. An educated guess is that the RS-485 bus has gone sideways. Did you try removing power completely for 30 seconds and then turning back on (rebooting the system)? For this you need to identify the upstream breaker. The pump breaker is not it.

If so, the next thing to look at is physical wiring. Maybe rodent damage. RS-485 is a single pair of wires that connect everything. It only takes one chewed wire to affect all the devices you mentioned. It's also susceptible to electrical noise. A mains connection/switch/breaker that's arcing can be a problem.

TCX heater uses 2-wire firemans switch and light uses Zigbee wireless switch. There is more going on there then a RS-485 problem.

The TCX is a new system and the problems should be reported to Jandy. The TCX firmware is different then an Aqualink RS or PDA.
