I have the same generator, t-5 and v1.45. What manual can I look at to make sure the T-5 setting is correct. Everything works except salt reading goes between 2600 and 2700 causing the generator to stop and start generating which is frustrating. I changed this cell 2 years ago and swear I had a t-5 before. My display also doesn't show tcell setting. Wonder if there is also a way to update SW version. Thanks.

If you have an AquaRite generator, you won't be able to update the firmware but it won't help your issue anyway.
Have you cleaned the cell recently?
What is the amps reading?

Do you have a salt test kit like this:
It is helpful in troubleshooting.
You may have a failing cell but without a good independent test, you won't be able to tell. A T-5 is a very small cell so unless you are using for a spa, it will wear out very quickly.

Do you have AquaTrol or AquaRite?
I think that v 1.45 is AquaTrol, which takes a T-5 unless you jump the j4 and then it takes a T-15.

Correct, my AQT T-5 Cell with version r1.45 does not have the ability to change the cell type at the LCD screen.
i have a T-15 to use as a backup if needed, then I would need to jump the J4 if I want to use it.
