Read through some threads and think I know the answer.

Have an older AQR version 1.45 with a T-Cell 5 which I believe is bad, never had a flow sensor connected and worked for many years.

Looking at grabbing a used T-Cell 15 before buying something new, from what I have read a T-Cell 15 will work with version 1.45.

Also, my unit appears to not have the ability to change T-Cell types.

If I need to buy new, what are some of the compatible cheaper alternatives?

Is this one compatible with my unit?

Thanks, taking a look at page 8 my software revision 1.45 does not appear to have the setting on the LCD screen.

Think I may have a larger issue which I will post separately.

If your other issue is at all related to this one, you are better off continuing in this thread as the Mod will combine them anyway.

Think I have a larger issue than a bad cell.

My AquaTrol panel will turn on like normal, no flow light blinks for 45 seconds or so and then goes off.

Issue is.....the power light is not on and no other lights will go on as well.

LCD and all buttons/functions seem to be working correctly, although it appears my amps and voltage reading on the LCD is 0.

MAS985 - Thank you!

Looking at the current limiter it appears to be cracked.

From a thread I found using the search I am going to order these from DigiKey.

One type has flat legs that are spaced further apart (AS322R025). The other type has rounded wire legs that are spaced closer together (SL322R025)

Can you show the whole main board?

The thermistor is definitely bad.

Appreciate the responses.

How easy is it to pop off the LCD to see the whole board? I didn't want to mess with it too much.

I'm going to say there's probably nothing wrong with my T-5 cell and it's the panel all along.

Still going to pickup the T-15 as a backup plan and would jump the J4 if needed.

I'm not too handy when it comes to electronic boards and soldering, found a local guy who will replace the thermistor once I receive the parts.

Happy to report AQT panel appears to be working again, will know for sure once I open the pool next week and have the T-Cell connected.

Purchased this thermistor from DigiKey and found a local guy for $75 to replace the bad one.

Follow up….had the pool opened for the season. 4 bags of salt and my AquaRite with the original T5 cell is working!! Reads 2800 for salt, going to add one more bag. All led lights look normal.

Amazing how an $8 part was the fix and thanks to this forum I was able to figure out what was wrong with mine.
