Hi, I hope someone out there can help me with the RTC circuit. I have purchased the super capacitor, RTC chip and oscillator. Upon initial inspection I noticed a SMD capacitor is missing C-14, does anyone know the value of this component and the +/- position to mount a replacement as well as the +/- position for C-3. Kind of lost as I am unable to locate a schematic for this circuit. Thanks

I have read the previous posts, my issue is a missing capacitor c-14. I would think someone would have drawn a schematic and might know the value of this component. This circuit seems to be a weak spot in its design.
the C3 should have polarity on the board, mine points down, so positive on the top, negative where the arrows are pointing.
my C14 fell out as well during my C3 repair, I remounted it without issue, and it's rusted beyond recognition, the picture of the part shows the dark side on the top for mine, so positive on the top, negative on the bottom
