Updated the HA code to handle the configuration menu unlock. Use RIGHT key when display shows "Configuration Menu-Locked". Same method as the Apps use.

This is working great! @mas985 , how do I unlock the configuration’s menu? I tried holding the < and > for 5 seconds but it doesn’t seem to work. Any idea?

I see one of your previous comment mentions handling the unlock, I see the Unlocking Menu Please Wait on the app, but it doesn’t unlock it on the P4. @j4ydubs , did you manage to get that working?

I've never tried to unlock it from HA.

I just added the logic to my HA repository (you need to import the P4 script if you have a P4). When you're on Configuration Menu-Locked and press the right arrow, it should unlock the menu. You can then right arrow through. It works for me on my P4.

Ended up finding a RAR at http://ftp.hi-flying.com:9000/IOTService/ and got things set up. Download took a alooooong time but Malwarebytes passed it.

Then fell prey to the unlogical nature of Cat 5 ethernet cable swapping cable to pin layouts. Logic would say coloring should be white/orange, orange, white/blue, blue, white/green, green, white/brown, brown, right? Nope. swap white/blue and white/green...... Started raining before I could get things swapped out so will have to wait to make the fix. Good news is the EW1 connects to my wifi so should just be a cable swap.

Im trying get this set up , I really don't know a lot about the cat 5 wiring can you tell me how to wire this up exactly with a cat 5?

First, I would not use unshielded cat5 wire which means you need cat5e or above.

Second, the documentation I posted in the first post has drawings for the connections:

I can control everything, and I can see sensors, except the “sensor.aqualogic_pool_temperature” it shows “Unknown”
Any idea?

Which controller do you have?

Is the controller in pool or spillover mode?

HA will show the last known pool temp only if there was one when it was started.

In spa mode, pool temp is unknown.

It is also unknown when the pump is off.

There are so many repo's im a bit confused which is the best to currently use with Home Assistant.
I have a Prologic with a p8 and the elfin ew11 is fully setup. Using the EW11 Script v006.txt script.

Can someone share the best repo and script to use with HA?

I somewhat have it working in HA. But buttons are not very responsive at all, and some do not work at all. So was just looking to possibly clean it up and start with a good recent repo.

I know my repo works for the PS8 because that is what I have. Plus, I am usually monitoring this thread since I started it.

To all of the app users (Windows, Android, iOS), I just pushed out an update to the app to add a status tab:



It adds a summary of several of the parameters that show up in the main display periodically plus adds the speed and power of any VS pump that is compatible with the controller.

I could only test for one VS pump since that is all I have but if you have more than one VS pump, it should also show up with the label of the Aux button that runs that pump. But please let me know if you run into any issues with the display.
