Thanks to TFP, I think I got this chemistry thing down. But always having to add Muritac Acid weekly to keep PH Down. I dont really run waterfalls or bubblers to try and keep it down but it always climbs to 8.2 to 8.4 Any advice.

My numbers below are pretty consisitne with my test (I do realize im running a little high on chliorine)

CL-5
PH-8.2
TA-70
CH-400
Salt - 3200

thank you

Target a lower pH. Shoot for 7.2. That will buy you a little extra time and also drive down TA, which should slow down the pH rise. If your refill water is high in TA or pH, you're just going to have to accept the reality that acid is a way of life. That's my situation, and I keep my TA around 60.

GTP,

I noticed that you did not report your CYA..

If really low this will make your SWCG work harder (longer) and that will help push your pH up.

What is your SWCG% and how long do you normally run your pump?

And.. an FC of 5 is not at all high for a saltwater pool.
