Any idea how long it might take to drain my pool?

Hi all,
I need to drain my pool and I'm going to siphon it off with a regular garden hose. Any idea how long I should give myself to have it largely drained?

Do you know the volume of your pool? I'm estimating 4,500 gallons. That's 900 5-gallon buckets.

Start the siphon and time the filling of a 5-gallon bucket in minutes. Multiply by 900 for time in minutes. Divide by 60 for time in hours.

The pool specs say that it holds 4,545 gallons at 90% so since I filled the pool to the grey line (100%) I am assuming a 5,000 gallon capacity. Did I not put that in my sig? I will do that now. Sorry.
