Another Pool Build in Cypress, TX

Hey guys! The acid guys left about 10:40. And the pool began filling at 10:30 CDST! I immediately ran to Lowe's and exchanged for the 100 ft hose. Then two hoses could be filling.

I pulled up just behind the landscape trailer full of our plants! So I didn't even get to go inside. We've been busy placing plants and watching over the details - location of paths, etc. I came in at 2:00 to cool off. I have to go back out for the placement of our swing and the swing frame.

I won't forget pictures. Be patient. I didn't expect to be doing the major landscape parts at the same time as the pool plaster and fill.

Later,
Suz.

Ya'll bear with me. I had about an hour in the house. The owner of the landscape company - I think he's gone mad. He brought in another crew. I've got guys runnin' around like crazy ants all over my yard. And I'm answering questions right and left of how plants should be placed. Grass is going in (and it's gorgeous grass). The arbor is still being built. The sides are being redone (side of the house and side of the garage - my white trash areas). There's still a tree to be planted. The lights are being installed. I'm tellin' ya' - it's unbelievable. I'm dying to post pictures, but I can't spend more than these few minutes inside, or I might miss having a say in something. I'm really dumb-founded. Pool? What pool? I've had virtually no time to even think about the pool. It's taking both Nick and me to keep 2 coolers filled with water and Gatorade. The Gatorade we bought this morning has long been gone. And thank goodness, when I was at Lowe's to get the water hose, they had huge crates of Gatorade, so I bought 6 12-packs. And a ton of bottled water. I hope it's enough for tonight.

The owner wants it finished tonight! He said this job should have been done 2 weeks ago. Then he pointed at me and said it was my fault - he's told me that twice today. "If you hadn't been so nice..... he said my guys have been milking this job!" I don't think by much. But of course, I wanted to say - If you'd come and checked on them a little more...... I didn't. And he said it with a good natured laugh.

I'm dying to post pictures - did I already say that? Ya'll just CANNOT imagine!. I'm afraid it may be morning before I have time or energy to post pictures. I tried to install TapaTalk so I could shoot pictures from my phone, but it said I didn't haven enough space on my device. Gee, no kiddin' - I wonder why!!!

Later,
Suz.

LOL Suz! "They have been milking the job" LOL go figure! Food and gatorade and a sweet lady to impress!

Oh yeah if you, Mr. Owner, had checked on your worker bees they might have been buzzing a little faster!

Suz how far along is your water? Will Nick do the brushing for you?

Kim

Kim, I'm sitting outside, letting everyone buzz around me. To answer your question, the water has just now reached the end of the shallow end. It's still not quite up to the steps.

I think Nick will help brush. I hope he will do it all. I know he's tired of mom asking him to help. He's such a good sport; I try not to take advantage. Can I do some of the brushing while I'm in the pool? I'm doubtful I can do it one-handed while holding onto a cane on the deck. I could do on purpose what happened accidentally with watering the gunite. After I fell, he did it all. I'm his driver, so we make a good team. I don'twant to burn him out.

If I can do a few pictures, what do ya'll want first?
Tired Suz.
