Our PB said yes that they will do a plaster job and wait until Monday. Everywhere I read, though, they say the acid wash is 24 hours later. Oh well......

Still no one here and no call back from Melissa at MMG. I don't think I will hear from any MMG people today.

I'm going to settle in front of an old Cary Grant movie and quit looking out windows!

If they trowel on Monday, they will acid wash Tuesday. You'll have a piece of July, and Aug/September at least. Our last swim day was 10-25 last year. I'm jealous to pieces of those glass shell markers I swear. Enjoy your movie....
 
Sorry to hear they didn't make it to your house Suzy, I took my daughter to the doctor as she has a small cold and had to leave them. Anyhow. It's done finally and I guess the acid step will be coming. During plaster, they covered all the shells and inlays and after it was done, they clean in between them but not super well but I guess when the scrubbing and acid comes, it will get the rest of the stuff off the shells. They look kinda dirty with the powder stuff.

The crazy thing is once the pool is completed, then the house is getting all hardwoods so that's going to be the next pain. Lol

I didn't explain it well...
The PB said with the apparent schedule change I will be tomorrow and acid wash on Monday. I don't know if waiting 48 hours for the acid wash is good or bad.

Paris! It is fabulous!! What a difference! All that ugly gunite is now beautiful. Now, tomorrow the acid wash and then the fill.

Definitely the stones will show much better! I don't think anything will stop their sparkle! And the blue in the plaster will show more. Combine all that with your glass tile, and it will be amazing!

Ugh.... I cant imagine another major project! Good luck with that, too!

I can't wait to see the acid wash tomorrow!! We'll need many more photos, you know!

Suz, we couldn't possibly stand the excitement of both of you getting pebble on the same day!

Side note, MMG was supposed to send someone out today to buff a few areas & I got a message from my builder this AM, saying schedule change, they will be here tomorrow.

I'm thinking they are swamped.

Can't wait to see yours!!!
