Lol. You two are so funny!! I don't know how you're so cheerful in the mornings. Nobody's here yet and I'm the only one in my house awake. I texted PB to see if he'd been able to confirm we would be first this morning as he suspected or if we'd be 2nd and this afternoon but I haven't heard back yet.

He texted back that he's already driven by our house watching for them. He can't call their office until 9:00.

Boo!! [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] He just texted that we got bumped a day. Apparently there is some kind of thunderstorm and they will be here tomorrow. My husband arranged to work from home today so that extra stinks. Do they do acid washes on Saturday?

Boo!!! I'm sad for you, but better to NOT have them even start with a threat of a storm! I'll be at work tomorrow but I'll peek in if I can!
TM, they might work on Saturdays since this is the busy season. So sorry you have to wait, but better than having it rain on them.
I just checked out the weather forecast. There is a 10% chance this afternoon, 20% chance tomorrow, and 50% chance on Saturday. I don't get their scheduling or how a storm that hasn't happened yet would have bumped us to a day closer to a potential storm but it is what it is. Man that's deflating! Lol I know you know Nini how bad a storm could be so I'm going to be a good buttercup and suck it up. I'll have more time to watch your acid wash and maybe a run to the pool store to have our water tested for metals. Oh... And work. Lol. I have a ton to do so I guess I shouldn't have distractions now. Sigh and sniffle.

They're here!! 
I went out and checked the color. The guy was so nice and he poured beads and rock from each bag into my hands, walked with me around the truck for a bag of Abalone and put it all into a bucket to mix together. He confirmed the base color was from Indigo Blue though I didn't see it. I sweetly asked for extra abalone and he said "Sure!" with a big smile. Of course I had texted my PB asking if I could get it last night and didn't get a reply so I don't know if I'll be paying for it or not. [emoji23]
Man they work fast! In the time I've been typing this they already have the pool covered and taped off, the pipes cut and covered and ropes going up.

Anywho I think the thunderstorm delay is something they use just to make an excuse for being a day late. In business there are always things you can cheat and say to a customer to make an excuse that you are late that more customers are willing to accept. haha My PB always used "It has been really wet this year".

Lots and lots of shiny bling! They are just casting that stuff all over the place. When I asked if the kids could do some he smiled and told me to grab the bag so they added quite a bit to the shelf including a spot they needed to fix. Lol

Edit: I told them breakfast was on the way but he asked me to stop him (hubby) because they'd already eaten and wanted to work. We have Gatorade and waters and told them we'd provide lunch! Lots of shade working with so many clouds out so that has been nice for them!!!
