I had one globrite replaced under the pool builder warranty last year after nly 2.5 years. Another one died a week ago (after 3.5 years), see the crack at the rear on the first picture and the manufacture date on the second:
I've replaced it with a microbrite. At least, I managed to get @ $260 (pus $18 aapter). We'll see how long it will last.
