If you put the CYA in, then assume it's there and SLAM at 12ppm FC.

Totally frustrated! Just checked CYA 2 hours after I added a gallon of liquid stabilizer. The test tube doesn't even get the slightest bit cloudy filling it all the way to the top. Just added the second gallon and will test again at 5:00. I added more 12.5% to get to 12PPM FC. FC is dropping but slowly. 10PPM to 7PPM in 2/12 hours. The sun poke through the clouds a few times.

I assumed that liquid would give at least some reading. I'll test again Tuesday when I get home from work.

I realize it. It still takes time for the CYA to show in tests. Be patient.

You put the CYA in the water and assume it is there.
