Am I really building a pool??

Well they finished the grading and also have my sprinkler system back up and running which is a good thing since it was 90 today in Dallas.

Working on finalizing a landscaper. Have been shocked at some of the bids that have been coming in.

Having to replace my palm in the front that had to be sacrificed for the pool build. After searching all over lucked up on this one today.

Sorry to hear you lost your tree.

Did they get the pool finish in yet?

We are still waiting on the pool finish. We failed inspection last week because of a missing form in our packet. PB mistake. I think we were re-inspected this weekend so I think we will be on the list this week to be plastered. PB has a finish out guy on their side as well that comes and checks his work. He wants them to redo a few areas of coping around the spa. I had pointed out one area I wasn't happy with but this guy found. A few more he wants the masons to re do. So I think these are the last on our list.

This was one I wasn't happy with. The corner just had too sharp an edge on it. So they will have to take out. Owner of this pool company started as a brick and rock mason so I think they have some high standards internally on this piece on their pools.

The finish guy put some red tape on some of the areas on the spa he wants redone as well. That might be hold up as well since they may want to fix before plaster.

Looks good! I wish my PB had been that detailed! He rolled his eyes at me when I pointed out the two different colored grouts they used replacing the coping while searching for the leak! Your trees look great! Are you putting them in beds or just going to have grass around them?

The tall one will go back in this bed in the front to replace this one we lost.

Haven't figured out if the small ones will go in pots for now flanking the pool or if I go ahead and put them in the bed behind the pool.

Wow. Its great the PB is taking action on those copings instead of trying to dodge the bullet. I wish they were all that way.

Great Looking pool you have.

Yeah I am glad we have had a good experience with them. They take a lot of pride in their work and it really shows.
