They need to lift the steel so it is in the middle of the concrete. It sitting on the bottom will not add any strength at all. They will use something called a "chair". There are many kinds but here is one example of some: Steel Bar Chair, Continuous High Chair, Slab and Beam Bolster

If they try to tell you "Oh we lift it with our hands as we pour it" tell them a great, big NOPE!! It will sink back down due to it's weight

plaster is in!!!! we are currently filling the pool.... and my husband is allowing the kids to splash around....isn’t that a big no no!!!?

There are some PB that it written into their directions "As soon as the water gets in the middle of the skimmer JUMP IN and enjoy". NO dogs though as their claws can hurt the new plaster.

Did you test your fill water? The pH and TA not being balanced could bother their eyes and skin. Nothing a good shower and some lotion and eye drops can't fix.

Oh Kim theres no reasoning with them at times!!! he really only allowed the baby to dip her feet but she wanted to submerge so he dragged her out and back into the hse ? ... our PB did ask us to wait until he comes andgets everything balanced tomorrow!!! So so exciting can’t wait really?

The final product!!! we’ve been loving our summer!!! now in the market for good robotic pool cleaners??? any recommendations??? and how soon can we start using it... plaster was completed 2 weeks ago. Thank you guys for helping us through the process?
