Alkalinity to low?

Had to SLAM my pool after opening & only tested PH and CYA before starting.
After 2 weeks the chlorine is stable and I ran a full test.

FC 6
PH 7.4
Alk 30-40 ( full light pink at 30, darker pink at 40)
C Hardness 50
CYA 30
Water temp 69

Do I need to raise the Alkalinity with baking soda? If yes, by how much?

If the pH is stable, no TA rise is needed. When you add some more CYA (to 40 or 50 ppm) your TA will rise some from that.

Oh, thank you.
We will be gone for 2 weeks at the end of this month, so I'll be using tabs during that time. (And raise CYA some)

Tablets are very acidic. So if you are going to use those, add 30 ppm TA worth of baking soda before using the tabs.
