Correct. And deep clean the filter if any floc or clarifiers have been used. Floc normally means the sand should be replaced.

Thanks. The Floc didn't pass through the filter at any time. We did only Recirculate and Vacuum to Waste.

Aha?! Is it just hazy then? If there are still live algae, I'm somewhat more confused why overnight FC would hold. Any diagnostics you can recommend?

An update: it just took a little longer for the water to fully clear up without Floc. My water was pretty similar to this color at my last post: https://livingproofmag.com/wp-conte...to-Remove-Dead-Algae-from-the-Pool-Bottom.png (so cyan may be a more accurate characterization) and becomes crystal clear about 2--3 days later (for a total of 8--9 days).

Liquid chlorine begins to come in stock at Walmart and Big Y now, so hopefully we won't have to contend with saving chlorine that much.
