Algae inside Pentair MicroBrite light?

Looks like I might have algae or dirt inside one of my MicroBrite lights. From what I understand, these are sealed units, so I'm not sure how water got behind the light lens. Any ideas?

Yes, the light works.

I would think a MicroBrite would be made of rust-proof materials.

Get some Vitamin C tablets and put them in a thin sock. Crush them up a bit and press them against the stained area for a while.

What you have is what my Globrite lights look like as they are ready to or have failed.

Water intrusion. They are known that at about 3 years the seal fails.
