Pool was cloudy last Friday as chlorine went to zero, started a slam and was visually clear by evening. I've been maintaining slam level since then but I feel like its still using a bit too much chlorine. On Sunday, I took off every cover and eyeball return looking for hiding spots (except main drain) and found nothing. Skimmers are pristine too. Chlorine usage has slowed a lot though, so maybe just need another day or 2?

I did notice one nichless led that looks cross threaded (jandy pro series) and I'm wondering if water is getting behind there. I'm reluctant to take it out since I can make it worse. Can I even remove this underwater? Do you think there could be something lurking back there?

Any ideas on how to check the main drain that is 9' down?

thank you

Just bumping to see if anyone has any thoughts on algae possibly hiding behind that nichless light, thanks
