Hello all, I’m having a little problem. My pool was not really monitored for like 8 months. This is 2nd summer having pool . My ph was over the 8 limit mark and my vinyl pool got like sand paper. I’m in the process in getting my pool ready to slam. Possibly yellow algae.

My concern is the calcium build up. Looks like the algae is stuck to calcium build up or under it. There is certain areas on the bottom the the pool that the stains won’t go away no matter how much I brush it. The stains on the wall looks like the algae is stuck to the walls . Pictures are from today after I brushed and vacuumed. I feel it’s because of build up.

My PH is currently at 7.6 I’m trying to bring down to 7.2 before I start slam. Are there any tricks to getting the calcium build up off the vinyl pool quicker :/ I don’t want to slam forever and still have algae if it’s stuck under the calcium. Any tips will be appreciate
