Mine slides in fine...once I removed the endcap that somehow got stuck in the pole from my netThe Aiper vacuum is ok, not great.
First impressions:
The attachment where you put the pole into is too big. It does not slide in all the way, which also makes it hard to remove. I guess over time it will wear and be better. Or I can just sand it down, but still a ding against it.
The vacuum head is rather small and the wheels are too recessed. So it does not run smoothly against a pebble surface. Again probably something I can file down but not something I should have to do.
Let me use it a few more times and I will give you more details. I have not really measured the suction on it yet. But it did pick up most of the debris in the spa.

I also found the head leaving something to be desired. Pulling works much better than pushing.
