Had to drain pool pumps and heater connection due to ice storm. Reconnected everything today and I have a slight leak/drip at this connection. I tried some plumber tape which helped a little but there is still a slight drip. Any suggestions?

Hey naper !! I just wanted to throw something out there. 2 somethings actually. Pool lube is the greatest thing ever for drips at o-rings. Hayward Jacks lube or equivalent.

secondly, it is very easy to overtighten all those connections/unions. The usual rules of tighten some more to seal the leak do not apply. I was told by my PB to make them all hand tight plus 1/4 turn. It took me 5 years of fighting the drips to realize that my hand tight was the same as his ‘hand tight plus a 1/4’. From that point on I undertightened and tightened only enough to stop the drips with the equipment running.
