Just had water checked they told me I needed 39# and 2 oz added to water to correct alkalinity ,seem like a little much when muratic acid would be much cheaper a quicker fix and cheaper
Hi! Your post isn’t very clear about the starting and desired end points of what you’re trying to achieve. Can you post your current test results? What are you using to test? What are you being recommended to add and who is giving the recommendation?
Welcome to TFP! You are right to be concerned. Don't trust anyone to test your water. That's rule #1. Be sure to get your own TF-100 (link in my signature) or Taylor K-2006C test kit. Only then will you (or us) know what you really need. Post a full set of your own water test results and can certainly help. Don't forget to update your signature.
