Had to drain fiberglass inground Pool and add water. Previously added granular chlorine by filling proper amount in measuring cup and spreading into pool. Any problem with this or necessary to disolve first?

Ok great. Many by you need to drain for accumulated CH from high CH fill water and tons of evaporation. At least it wasn't that. 
But if your fill water isn't run through a softener, you'll want to avoid cal hypo to push that draining as far down the line as possible.

For every 10 ppm FC added by Dichlor, it also increases CYA by 9 ppm. Trichlor builds up CYA. The same is true for Dichlor, except it's even worse (i.e. a more rapid increase in CYA for the same FC addition).
You can pre-dissolve the dichlor in a bucket of water from your pool and add it when it is dissolved by slowly pouring it in front of a return, deep end preferred, while the pump is running. Dichlor dissolves really quickly so it shouldn't take you very long.
If you decide to broadcast the dry granules, do it in the deep end and brush until everything is dissolved. Granules can cause surface discoloration from direct contact
Make sure you use a VERY clean bucket with NO residue from other chemicals. Use PPE.
Dichlor is typically considered to be soluble.
Follow the directions on the package.

^^^^^^ they're both not kidding about mixing various forms of chlorine in a bucket. My buddy blew his up. I forget now if he added shock packets to the old tab bucket, or vice versa, but there must have been a trace of the old stuff that mixed with the new stuff. And boom.
Lucky for him it took 5 mins and he wasn't there to be hit with shrapnel and chemicals
