Hey all, I’m in the middle of a SLAM for some cloudy water and I made the mistake of starting my SLAM at a pH of 7.5 instead of 7.2. I’m a bit paranoid about it, and I want to add the required amount of muriatic acid to bring it in line to 7.2. The issue is I’m trying to keep my FC at 28 due to a higher CYA of 70. Could there be any potential side effects to doing that? Or am I over thinking it and I should just leave it alone. I can’t check my pH because the results will be inaccurate.
here is a summary from pool math of where I’m at
