I'm starting a AA treatment tomorrow to get rid of some metal stains and putting Jack's magic the Pink Stuff. I just brought up my Calcium Hardness level to 200 because I have heater. My PH is 7.2 and Alk is 70 currently. Once I put the AA and the sequestrant the PH will fall down, not sure how low, but should I be concerned with the heater since the PH will probably drop under 7.0?

Your heater will be fine with pH in the high 6's. for a week or so.

What is your FC and water temp?

You swimming in NH now?
FC was 6 yesterday around 7:30PM.
Water is 50 degrees but I'm turning on the heater today to get it up to 78-82 degrees. It's going to be warm this weekend 83 Friday, 86 Saturday and 80 on Sunday.

Thank you ajw22!

Is swimming in the high 6's ok as well? Probably need some Goggles.
From Poolresearch.com:
Low pH levels lead to a number of issues from maintenance headaches like premature erosion of grout and corroded fixtures like ladders and diving boards. Low pH causes pool liners to become brittle and crack. It also causes discomfort for swimmers like burning eyes and itchy skins.

After 1 week, following AA treatment, do I start adding more sequestrant weekly based on the bottle instruction or should I wait an additional week?
