A Mystery to Solve

Builder is still working on pool. Getting closer. Cover, spa pump, fire bowls, and laminar jets were just wired by electrician.

But this mystery piece was left by the side, open, and in the rain.

Anyone know what it is? My best guess is that it is somehow related to the heater or the pool cover.

Looks like the interface to control a pool cover that has a hydraulic motor...

What kind of motor does your cover have???

I'll have to look it up.

If the cover is made by CoverPools, they are both out of Salt Lake City.

So, I would suspect that it goes to the automatic cover.
