A lot of rain

We’ve had a lot of rain lately in Raleigh. Would I be correct in assuming that the skimmer system will be fine even if the water is starting to rise above the skimmer box?

No overflow for your pool? Not ideal to overtop the very top as water could get behind your liner, etc. Skimmers won't work until water is back down to 1/2 the door height.

Amazon has $50-75 sump pumps that could really help out.
