I have an intermatic pool timer that will not shut off the pool automatically. I have to shut it off manually. I replaced the timer and checked all the wiring. Still won't work. HELP PLEASE !!!
It will not turn on the pump nor turn off the pump automatically which is what it is for. I have a switch between the timer and the pump that I have to manually turn on or off.
I read some place that intermatic timers have two different time trippers. Some are silver and some a gold, IIrC. One set is slightly longer than the other and the short ones don't work correctly in long arm switches.
Sorry...missed that. I have a Woods timer that is electronic but if you power up the timer in the middle of a on-cycle, it doesn't power on until the next on cycle. I don't know that applies to this situation
