I just replaced this last year, and it has stopped working properly. I can hear the motor running, but the gears aren’t turning. I’m having to manually turn the pool on & off due to the timer not keeping accurate time. This thing is now $69 on Amazon. Any help on troubleshooting?

I assume this is an Intermatic T101 or T104 timer?
Nothing to troubleshoot unless you are experienced with clock gear repairs. They wear out and you can't get gear parts. Only replaceable part is the motor.
Replace it and move on.
