Might want to get some more reagent on order. Depending on how much/often you backwash you will want to test when you think you've moved enough water out to make a 10ppm change in CYA.

No more than monthly, unless significant changes have been made such as large exchange of water or using products that contain CYA like pucks or granular chlorine products.

Ok took readings today just before going on a trip til Friday.

FC 11 (use the Chlorine Drop Test) - not sure why so high.. I lowered my SWG back to 60% again with the pump running 10hrs (from 8am to 6pm)

Hi. Quick question regarding evaporation. How aggressive is evaporation in the sunny days in Central Florida. Normally how much water is lost daily cause of it?

Y'know.... I'm not sure about Florida? The hotter and dryer it is will take the most water from the pool. In most pools its probably 1/4" or so a day. In the hot west it can be up to an inch!!
