Ready to replaster and change the tile on our pool

I personally have not heard of that ... but there are a lot of different choices out there.

Hopefully someone out there might have some experience with it and able to offer comments.

I have built many pools with Luna Quartz from Wet Edge...a very good product and similar to Pebble Fina from Pebble Tech. There are many quartz based pool finishes, but Luna and Pebble Fina are finer and will result in a smoother surface. But it is important to know that the applicator is probably more important than the actual plaster material manufacturer because pool plaster is just a mixture of white cement and aggregate like quartz or pebble, plus some additives. Not much can ever be defective about it regardless of the manufacturer, (or packager), but if not mixed and installed properly there are many problems that can occur that are not part of the manufacturers warranty. Things like not prepping the surface properly prior to application, applied to thin, rough surface, too much or too little water in the mix, etc. are all application issues. Pebble Tech and Wet Edge both have good certification programs and won't sell their products to anybody with a trowel and a pickup truck that may be here today and gone tomorrow like many manufacturers will. So stay with a good, certified pool plasterer, and you will be very happy. Good luck!
