Hello, we are resurfacing a pool and our pool company has bid stones capes and wet edge luna quartz. I asked to see a pool with the luna quartz and they said they have not done one in a long time and mostly do the stone scapes. I prefer the uniform look of the luna quartz and people say it's smoother than the pebble which is important to me. Can I see pools with luna quartz and can you tell me the color and if it has faded or mottled over the years please? Also, we would be willing to drive to see it in person. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Welcome to TFP
I have wet edge plaster but I went with the Primera Stone. The Luna quartz appears to be a good product and is different from the other products at Wet Edge is the use of exposed aggregate which gives the rough finish. Some like this and some don’t. Primera Stone is the combination of pebble aggregate and a smooth finish.
It is important to confirm that the PB is an approved applicator of Wet Edge. You can look at the Wet Edge website or call them.
Also, wet edge has a good video on their website that discusses the differences in their products.

The prevention of mottling is really based on the performance of the applicator to ensure the mix is done properly and applied properly.
