Hello and thanks in advance to all responders. I have been fighting a type of algae that is brown/green in color. It attaches to the side and bottom. When I brush it, it literally comes off in sheets and clumps. Most of it comes off fairly easily with the brush although in some spots it needs vigorous scrubbing to get it off.
I suspect that it is a variety of mustard algae...that being the case is there a "nuclear" option to get rid of it?
Thanks again...Rodge
Pool Stats:
In ground approx 22000 gal free form design
Gunnite with Pebbletec finish
Sand filter with a Multicyclone prefilter
Copper ion and Titanium Ecosmarte sanitation.... (used with good results for 10 years)
