Okay so We had the pool built In 2016 and in 21' the motor was replaced. About 3 weeks ago my pool guy noticed a leak and said shaft seal. I ordered a new shaft seal and upon disassembly the guy who replaced it in 21' cross threaded one of the bottom stainless bolts that screw Into the pump plate with the brass Inserts. No one will take responsibility (Jamdy nor the company who did install) so I think i want to move away from a jandy motor. 1st the whole thing is completely corroded(underbelly and the actual flange) 2 Motors is Crud IMO. SO ANY SUGGESTIONS OF A MOTOR that will bolt up to a jandy square flange pump?

That's not the motor's fault, but a long-time seal leak that wasn't addressed properly. And, Jandy doesn't manfacture motors anyway.
What controls that pump is the first thing to consider. If Jandy automation, unless the software is new enough, you will need another Jandy pump if you want complete control. Or, a Century EVQ165 motor will communicate with a Jandy system. With no automation, a Nidec Neptune NPTQ165 would be a great motor to use as it has built-in control.
Be sure to get the proper seal and O ring set to do the job correctly. It should be GOKIT82.
Let a seal leak like that again and the same thing will happen.
