5 jets in the hot tub. It's about 375 gallons and has a blower. The drain on the hot tub is typically closed and the jets create the spillover into the main pool. There aren't really any other features to mention.
A 3/4 HP pump is extremely unlikely to be enough to get the jets in the hot tub to work correctly. 3/4 HP is plenty for the pool alone, but you need something quite a bit larger to get the jets to function correctly.
To add to what Jason is saying, I"d highly recommend getting a variable speed pump with enough rear-end (2HP, maybe?) to do the job on high but that can be run on low for day to day filtering.
