I removed my single speed motor with a Hayward/AO Smith TriStar two speed motor. The single speed motor was controlled (on and off) by a T104M intermatic timer. Now, when I turn the breaker on, the motor runs at low speed, with the timer in the off position. When I turn on the timer, the motor switches to high speed. I was told that I needed to add a second timer, a intermatic T106M to the system. Has anyone had this issue? What is the wiring diagram if using the two switches.
Any help would be appreciated.
