Water seems a little cloudy...

Here is another video showing the water 24 hours later... MUCH improved. Almost perfectly clear. Thank you for all the help. I'm still going to do the overnight FC loss test just to try it.

That's great! When the water is only somewhat clouded from a peak in bather load, it usually doesn't take too long to clear it, especially if you run the pump 24/7. Next time you'll know to raise the FC in advance, especially with those likely urinating kids.

Being new to swimming pools, I started to freak out. I had been reading this website for weeks before my pool build began last November. I kept reading it through the build trying to gain as much knowledge as possible. There's a wealth of knowledge here. A great website. May have to become a TFP Supporter.

Well, I did the overnight FC loss test and it looks like everything is ok. FC loss was 1 ppm overnight.

If you lost 1ppm overnight I'd run it again, testing a little later and a little earlier. That rules out any sun involvement.

Isn't 1 ppm supposed to be ok for the overnight test? The water has lost the haziness I had two nights ago.

Yes it's ok at 1ppm loss, but being the anal being that I am, it would bug me that it's 1 and not less.
