I'm not a complete idiot and I prefer to fix things myself to save cost. Can anybody help me with some steps to fix this leaking pump? I have a calspa and two pumps and this one is leaking like crazy!

The shaft seal is leaking, and if it hasn't ruined the shaft, it's not too bad a job to replace. Just take the pump model number (not the motor #) to the pool store and get the correct replacement. I'd get a casing gasket as well too.
